5 weeks old & Max's First Christmas

Maximus is now 6 weeks old and weighs about 10 lbs. Over the past week he has been continuting to grow beautifully and is still a very happy and calm baby for the majority of the time. He is getting very strong indeed! Just this morning with his Daddy he actually stood on Daddy's legs on his own for a couple of seconds! We are very impressed! :)

Here is proof that our baby DOES cry and not just sleep all day! And here Max and Callum are discussing gaming strategies, and Max also gets a go at playing with the XBox! A very proud moment for Daddy!

This is Max and his Daddy on Christmas morning sporting his festive babygrow which unfortunately no one else got to see him in as he messed it up after about 10 minutes... D'oh! Also shown is Max having a snuggle with his Grannie at Smart and Cara's who hosted Christmas for us this year - Thanks guys! On Christmas Day Hannah decided to play at being a baby again for a while and posed for some very cute shots of her in Max's moses basket - thanks Hannah!

4 weeks old

Maximus is now 1 month old and still doing really well. We went to the Baby Clinic Drop In last Wednesday and he was weighed again, almost 9lbs. He is now a little over that and continues to be gorgeous most of the time. :) Here are a couple of the most recent pics of Max for you to coo at - I know I do...

2-3 weeks old

We had a visit from Grandpa Godfrey, Uncle Scott and his girlfriend Lauren a few days ago and we all had a very nice afternoon - Max slept (what he loves to do best!), Amy got a sit down, Grandpa got a long cuddle with Max and Callum, Scott and Lauren all played Guitar Hero!




















We also had a Scrubs Night last week and Jimbo's girlfriend Emma got her first cuddle with Max. He was mostly very well behaved except for a little baby sick mishap on poor Dominic! Sorry Dom! :)




















Max went for his first walk in his baby carrier last week and liked it very much! He is 3 weeks old now and changing every day. He now weighs over 8 1/2 lbs and is eating and sleeping very well, except for the obligatory few hours during the night! I took a shot at night of Callum and Max after a rather gruelling 3 hours of almost non-stop crying once he'd finally gone off to sleep!























We went to visit Grannie and Granddad yesterday afternoon and saw Mea and Great Gran there too, both of whom were very happy to see Max looking so well.




















Our house is getting ready for Christmas now and we have lights up and a tree and Callum made the first Christmas dinner of the year on Wednesday for the Scrubs Night guys, so we're feeling very festive and still extraordinarily happy with our best Christmas present of all - little Maximus. :)

9-13 days old

Max is now 2 weeks old and the photos below are of him over the past few days to show a bit more of his day to day 'activities'! Our 2 cats, Ninja and Damson, utterly adore little Max and take great pride in being his guardians, always checking to make sure he's ok while he's sleeping in his moses basket and Ninja even came and laid beside him during a feed the other day! Maximus now really enjoys his baths and most of the time is also happy to be massaged afterwards which is doing wonders for his dry skin. We are expecting Grandpa, Scott and Lauren shortly and will take some more piccies of them with Max then.

Meet & greet: Part 3!

On Thursday Callum, Amy & Max went to visit the Godfreys in Southam. It was very lovely to see them all cuddling with him - here are a few photos of a very proud Granddad, Nanny, Uncle Scott and Aunty Sam, not to mention a rather curious Cousin Dastan who gave Maximus a lovely kiss - aww!
