September & Jimbo and Emma's Wedding!

Here are the very gorgeous newlyweds, Jimbo (my cousin James) and Emma. Vows had been said and speeches done and they were very relaxed and happy. Such a wonderful, love-filled, fun day. Thank you both for letting us be part of it!

Here's our little man in his wedding suit, running about

The Robins' 'Little Family', why we call them that now is beyond me - look at the size of them!! For those who don't know, the front row from left is Katie, Lucy & Hannah with Martin and Caroline at the back.

Alec with lovely baby Harry - also in a suit!

Cutie Hannah-kin

Me, Callum and Max outside the church - with Cheddars...

Ben and his little brother Archie

and their tiny brother, Tobias!

This is one of my favourite photos ever! Callum and Max had just got ready on the morning of the wedding. Don't they look wonderful!?

Max in his wedding suit - with random eggbox bowtie!

A birds-eye-view of Max playing with one of his early birthday presents from Aunty M - a crazy golf track, good for balls and toy cars we've discovered! Thanks M!

This is a den I made for Max one afternoon when I had lots of sheets to dry! He had lots of fun! I remember playing man holes and dens with Peej, Jimbo & Big Bad Dom when we were little, so figures Max would like it too.

Maximus has taken to holding onto our fingers and gently pulling us along to where he wants us to be, which is very sweet! He sometimes says 'come' at the same time.

Climbing the pole at one of our local parks with Daddy

Climbing the various apparatus

Spinning round on the very heavy roundabout - big, strong Daddy's MUCH better at this than Mummy!

Playing at another local park on a morning play-date with...

... Raphael & Tracey

Daddy snuggle!

Looking smug after conquering Mount Daddy!
PS - Max's language is in a bit of a lull at the moment and we've not been getting many new additions each day for the past few weeks, but he did say 'Squish' for the first time yesterday while playing rough and tumble with Daddy after bathtime, so we're chuffed with that. :)

August & various family birthday parties

Here are the photos for late July & August.

Max is 21 months old and getting very tall and is even thinning out a little, apart from the chunky leggies of course! Max is now 91cm tall and weighs just over 2 stone.

This month he has been crazy about: Stoppit & Tidyup, Finding Nemo, The Gruffalo, puzzles and all things car-related.

Snuggling with Daddy to watch Maru the cat on the snazzy internet phone.

"Gimmie more of that chocolatey stuff!"

Opening one of the early birthday presents from Smart, Cara & the girls - various Julia Donaldson books - thank you guys!

Laughing muchly at Grandad, playing with Jack's new Cow glove puppet

He's already very good at drinking beer, so Rugby Club inductions shouldn't prove too much of a problem in the future!

"The bubbles the bubbles the bubbles!"

Playing something riotously funny with Jack Jack

Glowing after a bath

Punky hair! For Sally!

"Let me watch Stoppit & Tidyup again Mummy!!!"

One gloomy afternoon last month, Callum, Max and I made cut out cookies!
This was a bit of a patacake session when the cookies were in the oven, using the leftover dough

Rolling out the dough with Daddy's help
The finished cookies! They were very yummy! (FYI - For my Avon customers - A batch of these will be the free gift if you place an order over £30 over the Christmas campaigns!)

I made Max a ramp on the stairs for his cars using old cardboard boxes and this kept him amused for days! He still goes back to it every now and then - definately a worthwhile few minutes spent cellotaping!

Looking tall!

A shot from Samantha and Dastan's visit - Dastan here is trying something new and it went down well! Hooray for Nutrigrain bars!

This is Max at Phil & Charlie's house during their BBQ. He's playing with delightful little rain-catcher chimes - I'd like some of those.

Jack Jack and Archie playing beautifully together, also at the BBQ

Max playing with Loki, the gorgeous Doberman.

Daddy playing aeroplanes with Max

Having a go on the trampolene - he wasn't entirely convinced, but enjoyed watching the others bounce

Max and me!
