14 weeks

Maximus will be 14 weeks old tomorrow and he now weighs 12 lbs 4 oz and is steadily gaining weight up the 25th percentile on the graphs which is great. The health visitors are very happy with him and he continues to be happy too. :)

One of Max's favourite ways to get to sleep is sitting with Daddy while he unwinds playing video games, but he also watches the screen - a sign of his future hobby no doubt!

We went to see aunty Sally and cousin Jack this week and saw Grannie and Grandad there too. See Sally's blog for super cute video of Jack!

We have been continuing to encourage Max to sit up unaided, to roll over and to crawl. His arms are getting stronger every day and we think he might pull himself along soon as his legs are already good at the crawling action.
It is a bit tiring though, and after a little while he's had enough...

At Scrubs night this week Peej, Mel, Jimbo, Emma and Dominic saw Max again and he had a lovely time with them all, despite Uncle Peej's manic new hair do... (Just kidding Peej!)

He fell asleep with his crackly book - Nursary rhymes are obviously not the most stimulating of reads...

We were intending on visiting the Godfreys in Southam this weekend but poor Dastan is poorly so we are going to visit once he's all better - Get well soon Dastan!

12 weeks & snow!

As I'm sure everyone has experienced - it snowed this week! I wouldn't exactly call it Max's first snow though as he's a bit too little to appreciate it so we stayed indoors.

Max loves Mummy

See?

Max loves his playmat!

Max loves Daddy!

Daddy is funny

Maximus now has 3 teeth trying to push through and he quite likes biting on things to ease the teething. All he needs now is more co-ordination with his hands so he can hold on to a teething toy to chew!

Max is also now regularly sleeping for 7 hours straight at night and is a lot more awake and playful in the day which is great! He now smiles at the cats as well as people who smile at him and continues to be a very happy boy! Hooray!
